Building Advisory Board of Appeals

Description

The Building Advisory Board of Appeals has the jurisdiction to recommend that minor variances in the electrical, plumbing and mechanical application of the Building Code be granted and that alternative construction methods or materials be allowed. Members appointed to the Building Advisory Board of Appeals must be qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction. The board also recommends amendments to the Code.
